Our apostolic mandate

Since the start of September, Robert and Kathryn have reaffirmed their calling to be and help church planters, which is part of the apostolic mandate the Lord has entrusted to them. Since that time, the vision to reach unreached cities in France has burned more strongly than ever in their hearts. And the Lord has set up some divine connections in view of this strategy! This week for example, the Baxters met with Jacques and Marjo Arendse, currently pastoring in Finland but both having heard from God that they are to move to France sometime in the future to start a church in an unchurched town in the south. This divine encounter inspires Robert and Kathryn to stand firmly upon the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:36-38 – “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
